Taken with Skyrim’s Realistic Lighting mod, which adjusts the lighting, contrast, and postprocess colorgrading to more realistic levels. It removes the fake ambient lighting, creating very dark nights and interiors if there are no actual light sources around, and creepy, dramatic shadows if there are. If you find yourself at the bottom of a pitch black cave, and your last torch goes out… well… Don’t.
Wonderfully atmospheric images from Skyrim. I like the idea of wandering into those deeply dark shadows…
